What it does
What Warehouse & Fulfilment does
Everything between a confirmed order and a loaded van. Stock is allocated from the earliest-expiring batch, every movement is logged on an append-only ledger, and stock is recomputed from batch totals so it cannot drift negative.
FEFO batch allocation
Stock is allocated from the earliest-expiring batch automatically, with a logged manual override when the physical situation demands it.

Every unit is accounted to a batch carrying expiry, quantity, landed cost and supplier — the basis for traceability and recall.

One delivery note per order or bundle, with driver and run assignment and partial-delivery reason codes.
Close ↑Partial deliveries & owed stock
When only part of an order is delivered, the remainder is tracked as owed stock until a later run fulfils it.
Close ↑Returns processing
Per-line reasons and a condition check decide restock or write-off; approval issues a linked credit note and re-enters good stock to the batch pool.

Counts scoped to a warehouse, aisle or category, with a money-value variance view. Approval writes the adjustments to the ledger; unapproved counts leave the books untouched.

The batch and movement model ties every unit to its batch, so the data foundation to trace which orders received a given batch is built in. A one-click operator recall view is on the roadmap.
Close ↑Expiry management
Near-expiry batches are surfaced nightly and can be pushed to the storefront as targeted discounts that close when the batch depletes (see Customer Ordering). A dedicated operator expiry console is on the roadmap.

Every stock movement — sale, receive, adjustment, return, write-off, recall — is recorded on an append-only ledger.

Stock is recomputed from batch totals on every change and guarded so it cannot go negative, with a reconciliation command that verifies live stock against batch-ledger totals.
